You nod. "Okay, I'll help. But first... how do we get to the wizard's castle?" The unicorn lifts his head, mane glinting in the strange, swirling light. "The fastest way is through the Sparkle Forest," he says. "It's full of hidden paths that lead straight to the castle. But it's tricky, sometimes there are trolls who try to play tricks on you." The fairy zips in a loop above your head, wings sparkling. "No! The Crystal Hills are better," she insists. "The hills are easier to see from above, and the crystals guide your steps." You frown. "But... I can't fly. How would I see the hills from above?" The fairy flutters closer. "Well... you'll have to trust the crystals to guide your path. They glow when you're going the right way. But it's slower and trickier than flying. Additionally there is a river you have to cross. If it is high water, you have to take the bridge which is a ways away. But if the river has low water, you can cross it." You blink. The sky flickers behind them, clouds sliding backward, and the grass hums nervously.
